Final Fantasy XV has had a good run so far, with plenty of DLC to keep players coming back. So far we've had individual ‘episodes' to explore the backstories of Gladios, Ignis and Prompto, multiplayer has been added and one of the game's story chapters has been expanded. Now in 2019, Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XV will get four more DLC episodes.
Final Fantasy XV first launched on Xbox One and PS4 in 2016, since then the game has been revitalized with constant updates, including PS4 Pro and Xbox One X patches, as well as a release on PC. During a panel at PAX East over the weekend, Square Enix confirmed that four more DLC chapters will be heading to the game next year.
These new episodes will expand on backstories for four more characters, including Noctis, Ardyn, Aranea and Luna. No specific release dates have been announced just yet, and we don't know if these DLCs will be packaged in a second season pass, but that seems likely.
In the meantime, there will be more crossover events for Final Fantasy XV. Previously we saw the game cross over with Assassin's Creed, this time around there will be a cross over with Tomb Raider, seemingly to promote the release of Shadow of the Tomb Raider later this year.

KitGuru Says: I'm still working my way through Final Fantasy XV now that it's available on PC, but from what I've heard, the previous DLC episodes were all quite good. Have many of you played Final Fantasy XV? Would you return for a second round of DLC next year?
