Roccat’s Khan Aimo headset boasts High-Res audio support and 7.1 surround sound alongside a built-in DAC/AMP combo for £110. The Khan also supports LED synchronisation with other Roccat peripherals which includes the new Aimo intelligent lighting.

Does the inclusion of an inbuilt DAC/AMP combo offer genuinely better audio performance as suggested on paper, or does this unnecessarily limit you to a purely PC-specific headset with its USB 2.0 connection?
