Rainbow Six Siege teases new Villa map and hologram-based operator, Alibi

Ahead of the full May 20th reveal, Ubisoft has released a teaser on one of its two new Italian operators headed to Rainbow Six Siege. Arriving within Operation Para Bellum, Alibi is a defender that utilises her holograms to deceive enemies, seemingly getting the drop on them.

Born in Libya, Alibi, also known as Aria de Luca, immigrated to Italy with her family when she was just three years old. By the time she was 18, the Carabinieri, an Italian military force, recruited her after she won gold in two divisions of a European shooting competition, allowing her to serve with a special operations group known as the Raggruppamento Operativo Speciale, focusing on the fight against organised crime.

From there, she earned a spot in the Gruppo Intervento Speciale (G.I.S.) counter-terrorist unit, where she went on to utilise her undercover skills to take down the Vinciguerra Crime Family, bringing them down from the inside out.

So far, no details have been revealed regarding Alibi’s ability beyond her teased holograms that help her “find clever ways to force the Attackers’ hands.” This lines up with previous leaks that have long suggested that decoys will be the next meta. She looks to be wielding a Beretta MX4 Storm submachine gun.

Players also got their first look at the upcoming Villa map, a beautiful three story house based in the Italian hills. Operation Para Bellum’s last operator, Maestro, is expected to get a similar teaser ahead of the reveal during the Rainbow Six Siege Pro League finals on May 19th-20th.

KitGuru Says: I am excited for a new meta to be ushered in after taking a strong opposition against global abilities, however my main enthusiasm stems from the new map and Club House map buff. Are you looking forward to jumping into Operation Para Bellum?
