Nvidia rolls out new Game Ready driver ahead of new DLSS-supported titles

If you own an Nvidia graphcis card, it is time to update those drivers. The latest Game Ready graphics driver update has dropped, landing alongside news of Horizon: Forbidden West's incoming PC port, which will launch with DLSS 3 support on day-one for multiplied performance on RTX 40-series graphics cards.

We've already covered Horizon Forbidden West's PC launch announcement. The game is coming on the 21st of March and will have support for both DLSS 3, DLSS 2, and Nvidia Reflex at launch. Those with RTX 30 or older GPUs can benefit from DLSS 2, using upscaling techniques to improve frame rates, while those on RTX 40 GPUs can benefit from DLSS 3, which adds in Frame Generation to boost frame rates further at the cost of latency. To counter the additional latency, Nvidia Reflex is provided, which reduces the latency of your entire system for more responsive controls in-game.

Endnight Games’ The Forest was an incredibly popular open-world survival and crafting game. Their critically acclaimed follow-up, Sons Of The Forest, recently exited Early Access with a massive content update and now, the game also supports DLSS 2 for RTX graphics card users looking for a frame rate boost. Mortal Kombat 1, Reveil and Hellbreach: Vegas are several other titles getting DLSS support this week.

Finally, there is also a new GeForce Game Ready driver available to download. The new driver implements day-one support for Thaumaturge, which launches with support for DLSS 3 and Nvidia Reflex this week.
