Win the Fastest WD Consumer SSD Ever – 1TB Black NVMe!

With the 1TB Black NVMe SSD, WD promised to deliver its fastest drive ever – and we were not disappointed, with speeds of 3446MB/s read and 2857MB/s write according to our testing. Now we're proud to announce an exclusive competition for KitGuru readers that gives you a chance to win this top of the line NVMe drive – which picked up a KitGuru MUST HAVE award in May!

According to the folks at WD, the WD Black drive is ‘where blazing speed, top-tier performance, and Western Digital 3D NAND technology combine' – and it's hard to disagree with that assessment. WD's 3D NAND technology offers top speeds of 3400MB/s and 2800MB/s when reading and writing data in ATTO. The company also claims incredible reliability – with up to 600TBW and 1.75M hours MTTF.

Even for those of you who are used to booting from a regular SATA SSD, this unit represents an opportunity to move data around at around 6x the speed you're used to!

In order to enter, all you need to do is send an email over to ‘[email protected]', with the subject line ‘NO COMPROMISE SSD PERFORMANCE'. If you have an email client installed on your OS – click the following link for autofill Email KitGuru by clicking here. In the email, please include a link to your Facebook or Twitter page so we can verify you're a real person and not a bot.

Sorry to those readers without a social media account, but we try to reduce the amount of people abusing the system and sending entries from multiple email addresses. If you do not send a Facebook or Twitter link to a live account page, your entry will be ignored.

This competition is open globally, although if you are outside the European Union we are not responsible any for customs fees you may incur. Please check with your country officials to get details on possible tariffs if you are unsure. We will clearly mark the package as ‘competition prize'.

All entries must reach us by 11:59 PM (UK time) on the 20th of May 2018. Winners will be announced within 14 days of the closing date (although likely much sooner). All decisions made by KitGuru staff are final. There can only be one entry per reader.
