ROG Takeover at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere this weekend

If you want to play games on the latest hardware, get hands on with watercooling kit and have the chance to win loads of prizes, then you might want to get down to the Red Bull Gaming Sphere – opposite Shoreditch High Street Station – on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th May. KitGuru got in on the set up day to shoot a quick video and grab some shots – so you know what you're letting yourself in for!

Situated underground, the Red Bull Gaming Sphere is a well decorated gaming environment – and certainly a well equipped one this weekend.

You can check the dedicated event page over on Facebook, but we got ROG gaming guru Anthony Pritchard to give us an exclusive run through the ROG Takeover.

The gaming systems themselves use top of the line components like GTX 1080 GPUs, and you also have a racing zone where you can experience triple screen surround action.

Adam Faulkner from Thermaltake will be on hand to demonstrate liquid cooling and overclocking – just in case you want to find out more about getting the maximum possible performance from your existing kit.

“Above all, it's about having fun, getting hands on with some powerful components and winning prizes!”, explained Pritchard.

Here's a little gallery of shots that will give you a better idea of what's in store should you pop down. Also, we have included a ‘compilation pic' that shows you how to get from the main street, to the building, to the underground zone where it all takes place.

KitGuru says: There are no weddings or football matches this weekend apparently, so head for Shoreditch High Street and win some goodies.
