Aerocool shows off its new RGB-infused chassis ahead of Computex

Computex is coming up in just over a month, and while many companies will be keeping their cards close to their chests until then, Aerocool has chosen to launch its new chassis beforehand instead. It's called the ‘Aerocool GLO', and its a mid-tower case with RGB strips down the sides of the front panel.

There has been no press release sent out for this case yet, but we are expecting to see it at Computex in June, where LEO might be able to get some first impressions. Going by the product page, we can see that Aerocool is setting this case apart from the crowd with the addition of RGB strips down either side of the front panel. There are 7 solid colour options that you can choose from, and 6 different ‘flow' modes, which group multiple colours that will stream down your case.

The case has excellent motherboard support, with mounting options for SSI-CEB, ATX, mATX and Mini-ITS boards. There is also room for liquid cooling, with the ability to fit a 240mm radiator at the front, or a 360mm radiator at the bottom of the case. The only thing that I do find peculiar is the power supply mounting position, which requires that you put it in the top of the case rather than the bottom. On the plus side, there is a PSU shroud at the top, so you'll still be able to cables easily.

The Aerocool GLO doesn't come with any 5.25″ drive bays, which is standard practise nowadays. It does pack three 3.5″ drive bays and five 2.5″ drive bays. There is enough space towards the front of the case to accommodate a 425mm long graphics card, and there is 160mm of clearance for CPU coolers.

Currently, we have been told to expect the Aerocool GLO to hit retail in June, following on from Computex. We are told that it will be priced at around £75 at launch.
