We've known for a while that CD Projekt Red is gearing up for something this year. In January, the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account came back to life for the for the first time since 2013. This was followed by multiple sources claiming that we would finally see Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 this year. Now backing up those rumors, CD Projekt has officially been listed as a presenter at E3 this year.
We've already heard that apparently Microsoft will get to show off Cyberpunk 2077 during its own presentation. Now, the E3 2018 website shows that CD Projekt Red will be showing off a roleplaying game for PC, Xbox One and PS4. Cyberpunk 2077 isn't named on the site, but the game being shown is defined as an RPG, meaning we can probably rule out Gwent as being the big surprise.
E3 is just six weeks away at this point and from the sounds of it, we'll have plenty to look forward to. CD Projekt Red has been very quiet on the subject of Cyberpunk 2077, giving us just brief teases of a ‘true RPG' and describing the project as ‘more ambitious' than The Witcher 3.
If rumors are to be believed, Cyberpunk 2077 will appear during Microsoft's conference in June. You can check out the full E3 schedule with start times for each conference in different time zones, HERE.
KitGuru Says: Given how long it has been since we last saw Cyberpunk, I'm hoping that we'll see a gameplay reveal. That said, I'm not necessarily expecting the game to release this year, though that would be a great bonus. Do you guys think we'll see Cyberpunk 2077 in action at E3 in June?
