Crash Bandicoot is heading to the PC, Switch and Xbox earlier than expected

The Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is heading to the PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch this year, and now it will arrive earlier than expected. In a rare change of pace, Activision has brought the game's release date forward.

Initially, the highly regarded remasters were set to launch on other platforms on the 10th of July. However, development seems to be further ahead than anticipated, so the game will now be heading to PC, Xbox One and the Switch on the 29th of June instead.

Up until this point, the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane trilogy has been a PS4 exclusive. Activision is following the game up with additional nostalgia-fuelled remasters, including a re-release of the Spyro trilogy.

While Crash was a platform exclusive at launch, Spyro will be launching on the Xbox One and PS4 on the same day in September. A Nintendo Switch version is expected but hasn't been explicitly announced yet. Unfortunately, there is no word on a PC version.

KitGuru Says: I played through most of Crash on the PS4 already, but I'm still looking forward to seeing it launch elsewhere. Will any of you be picking up the N.Sane trilogy? Will you be getting it on PC, Xbox or the Switch?
