This month’s Prime Gaming line-up includes a healthy dose of Fallout

Amazon Prime members have been able to take advantage of Prime Gaming for a while now, offering benefits like free games for you to download and install straight to your PC, as well as free games that can be streamed via the Amazon Luna service. The next batch of games for May 2024 have just been announced, and in keeping with Amazon's recent Fallout celebrations, Fallout 3: GOTY Edition is the big headliner.

If you own Fallout 3 already, you may want to claim this anyway as this is a GOG code, meaning it is DRM-free. This will give you the freedom to keep the game well into the future. In an age where gamers have to worry about their digital purchases being revoked in some form, we can't recommend going down the DRM-free route highly enough.

The full list of games available to claim through Prime Gaming this month include:

  • Tomb Raider Game of the Year Edition (GOG Code) – May 2
  • Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars (GOG Code) – May 2
  • Dark City: International Intrigue (Amazon Games App) – May 9
  • Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition (GOG Code) – May 9
  • Nine Witches: Family Disruption (Amazon Games App) – May 9
  • Electrician Simulator (Epic Games Store) – May 9
  • 100 Doors Games: Escape from School (Legacy Games Code) – May 16
  • The Forgotten City (Amazon Games App) – May 16
  • Spirits of Mystery: Whisper of the Past (Amazon Games App) – May 23

As for Amazon Luna, those using the cloud service can expect to get access to Fallout 3, Fortnite Festival, Fortnite Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, Trackmania, Fallout: New Vegas, as well as Lego Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, which confusingly does not include the clone wars.

KitGuru Says: Do you regularly claim games through Prime Gaming? If DRM-free options remain common, I would recommend claiming as often as possible.
