Corsair launches Hydro X series iCue Link XH405i RGB kit for easy custom liquid-cooling

Corsair has recently announced the new Hydro X custom cooling kit, the iCue Link XH405i RGB. Building on the success of their previous XH305i kits, Corsair has packed the XH405i RGB kit with a suite of cooling components enhanced with RGB lighting, supporting Corsair's iCue Link technology to create a unified RGB ecosystem.

Available in black or white, the XH405i kit provides everything you need to build a custom CPU cooling system. The kit includes an XC7 RGB Elite CPU water block, an XD5 RGB Elite pump/reservoir combo, three QX120 RGB fans, an XR5 360mm radiator, and all the accessories needed to set up the cooling system.

The XC7 RGB Elite CPU water block uses a copper cold plate and a hexa-flow cooling engine. It is compatible with a broad selection of Intel CPUs based on the LGA 1700 socket and AMD CPUs on AM5 and AM4 sockets. The XD5 RGB ELITE Pump/Reservoir Combo is driven by a D5 PWM pump and has a 440ml reservoir. Both units have in-loop temperature sensors that allow the user to better manage the loop via iCue software. Furthermore, iCue Link Elite components are smarter, with separate microcontrollers that manage and report performance and temperature data to the integrated system hub and iCue software.

Combining three QX120 RGB fans with the XR5 360mm radiator guarantees good heat dissipation. Additionally, 148 individually controllable RGB LEDs throughout the cooling arrangement provide numerous customisation choices. Transparent XT Hardline Tubing completes the loop and may be easily moulded and cut to your specifications with the accompanying XT Hardline Bending Toolkit. A litre of pre-mixed, clear XL8 Performance coolant comes with the kit. The XH405i includes all the essential XF hardline fittings and adapters, and additional fittings for those who want to extend their cooling to GPU blocks.

For builders looking to extend their cooling to GPU blocks, the upgraded iCue Link XG7 RGB GPU water blocks are launching alongside the XH405i. Like the previous variants, these are compatible with RTX 4080 and 4080 Super MSI Suprim / Gaming Trio and Asus ROG Strix / TUF Gaming cards.

The Corsair Hydro X Series iCue Link XH405i Custom Cooling Kit and Hydro X Series iCue Link XG7 RGB 40 Series GPU water blocks are now available. The Hydro X Series custom cooling components (CPU and GPU water blocks, pumps/reservoirs, and radiators) come with a three-year warranty. Other components of the XH405i kit (fans, coolant, tubing, and fittings) are covered by a two-year warranty.
