Latest Nvidia drivers prep for Monster Hunter World and WoW: Battle for Azeroth

We've been discussing Monster Hunter World quite a bit this week, as those with early access have been quite vocal about their experience so far. We know that the game is very CPU intensive, and that crashes have been occurring. Fortunately, some of these issues should start to get resolved as Capcom's own pre-release patch has begun rolling out, and the latest Nvidia graphics drivers bring along optimisations for the game.

So far, those with access to Monster Hunter World have had to play without updated graphics drivers, which can make a significant difference. Nvidia's latest Game Ready 398.82 drivers began rolling out this week, adding in optimisations for Monster Hunter World, which launches on Steam on the 9th of August.

Aside from Monster Hunter World, the latest Nvidia drivers also prep GeForce users for the latest World of Warcraft expansion. Battle for Azeroth launches on the 14th of August and fans are already eager to jump in, as the most recent story cinematic presented players with an unexpected story twist.

Those looking to hit 60 frames per second in WoW Battle for Azeroth will want a GTX 1080 for 4K, a GTX 1070 for 1440p and a GTX 1060 for 1080p. We don't have similar GPU recommendations for Monster Hunter World yet, but you can check out the game's full system requirements, HERE.

KitGuru Says: I won't be jumping back in to WoW for this expansion, but I am looking forward to Monster Hunter World. Well, assuming all of the pre-release issues get ironed out. Are any of you planning to pick up the new WoW expansion or Monster Hunter this month?
