Insomniac’s Spider-Man will get three DLC chapters this year

The PS4's next big exclusive is just around the corner and it is shaping up to be huge. Insomniac's Spider-Man game will be hitting store shelves on the 7th of September, but players won't have to wait long for additional content as the first DLC is set to release in October. Two additional DLC chapters will follow before the end of the year.

Insomniac will be releasing Spider-Man's first DLC on the 23rd of October. It is called ‘The Heist' and will feature Felicia Hardy/Black Cat. The DLC comes with its own story missions, but will also bring along new enemies to tackle and three new Spider suits to unlock.

There will be two extra DLCs also landing before the end of the year. A DLC called ‘Turf Wars' will arrive in November and a third DLC called ‘Silver Lining' will launch in December. These three chapters are packaged together in a bundle called ‘The City That Never Sleeps'.

The full bundle will be available as part of the Deluxe version of the base game and can be purchased separately for $25. Alternatively, each chapter can be bought separately for $10 each.

KitGuru Says: I'll be holding off judgement on the pricing for now as we don't know how substantial these DLC packs will be. We do know that the base game's story will be roughly 20 hours or so, so hopefully these DLCs can add a good chunk to that. Are any of you planning to pick up Spider-Man next month?
