Avalanche Studio is hard at work on three separate games at the moment. Not only is it gearing up to launch Just Cause 4, but Rage 2 is also heading our way next year. Beyond that, Avalanche is also working on a brand new original game called ‘Generation Zero'. We had a brief look at Gen Zero at E3, but a gameplay trailer has since landed, giving us a deeper look.
Generation Zero is set in an alternate version of Sweden in the 1980s. Robots roam the land and players will need to sneak through villages and forests, taking them out as they go. The game is designed with co-op in mind too, supporting up to four players.
Generation Zero doesn't have a precise release date yet, but it is expected to come out in 2019. The game will also be getting a closed beta test this year, presumably before the release of Just Cause 4 in December.
KitGuru Says: Avalanche Studio is working on a lot right now, and each game is due to launch in fairly quick succession. Are any of you looking forward to Generation Zero? What do you think of the gameplay trailer?
