Nvidia’s RTX 2070 now has a release date

It has been just over a month since Nvidia first announced its new RTX 20 series of graphics cards and just one week since we reviewed the two at the top of the stack. The RTX 2080 and RTX 2080Ti are already in the hands of buyers but what about those holding off for the RTX 2070? Last night, Nvidia finally gave us a launch date for its entry-level RTX card.

The RTX 2080Ti and RTX 2080 launched at $999 and $699 respectively. The RTX 2070 will also provide buyers with access to ray-tracing and DLSS at a starting price of $499 for the non-Founder's Edition card and $599 for the Founder's Edition. In a tweet last night, Nvidia revealed that the RTX 2070 will hit shelves on the 17th of October:

We don't know when reviews for the RTX 2070 will go live just yet but expect to hear more over the next few weeks.
