Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be with us in less than two weeks time. At this point, we've had a few trailers and seen extensive gameplay footage. Now we also have the minimum and recommended system requirements for the PC version of the game.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be one of the first games to support Nvidia's new real-time ray-tracing technology. As we've already heard, this effect will be extremely taxing to run, so these system requirements don't take RTX into account. I would estimate 720p/low for the minimum requirement and 1080p/high for the recommended but we don't know for sure just yet.
Here are the minimum system requirements:
- OS: Windows 7 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i3-3220 or AMD Equivalent
- RAM: 8GB
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 660/GTX 1050 or AMD Radeon HD 7770
- Storage: 40 GB available space
Here are the recommended system requirements:
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i7 4770K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
- RAM: 16GB
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB
- Storage: 40 GB available space
KitGuru Says: I finally finished Rise of the Tomb Raider earlier this year, so I'm looking forward to picking this one up in a couple of weeks. Are any of you planning on playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider when it launches?
