Netflix has treated us to another update on The Witcher TV series. In recent months, we've heard a lot about the writing process, casting and even filming locations. Now today, Netflix has given us our first look at Henry Cavill as Geralt, albeit without any scars or a beard.
In a short, 20-second costume test clip, we can see Henry Cavill sporting Geralt's long white hair, in full Witcher gear. Towards the end, he takes a swig of a potion.

The armour looks similar to some of the Witcher gear we see in the games and the hair is similar to the length we see in The Witcher 1, before CD Projekt Red changed up the character design a bit.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like this version of Geralt will be sporting a beard just yet, although those who have read the books will know that Geralt doesn't particularly like having one anyway. The biggest thing that stands out right now is a lack of scars, this could change when filming begins, or later on in the series as Geralt gets embroiled in some dangerous battles.
KitGuru Says: I'll be waiting until we see a full trailer before passing judgement but I'm not exactly blown away by this first-look. Still, it will be interesting to see how it all looks when the actual show is ready. Are any of you looking forward to The Witcher series in 2019? How do you feel about Geralt's look so far?
