OCUK extends its Christmas delivery guarantee, including site-wide discounts

Holiday deals are well under way at Overclockers UK, but buyers only have a limited window left to order in time for Christmas. Those still counting the pennies are in luck, however as the retailer has taken a very KitGuru approach in hosting multiple giveaways up until Christmas day.

“Christmas is one of our favourite times of the year at Overclockers UK and we want to make sure that none of our amazing customers miss out the chance to kick back with their favourites games over the holidays,” said OCUK’s Connor Richards. “That's why we've extended our PC systems cut-off to midnight on Sunday the 9th of December, including the last chance to cash in on some of our fantastic AMD system deals.”

OCUK holds no guarantees for any order placed after the 9th of December, particularly with full PC systems given lengthier configuration and delivery times. Fortunately, the retailer still has plenty to choose from, with customisable hardware to scale the final price according to the individual user.

Overclockers UK’s Zenith Gaming PC returns from its now-expired Black Friday offer to cut a further £100 off the default asking price. Featuring a Ryzen 7 2700X and a Vega 56, this bundle includes The Division 2, Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2 Remake at no extra cost. Overall this will set users back £1,299.95, saving 23% off RRP. OCUK’s Citizen Gaming PC includes the same three games but comes in a little more affordable with a Ryzen 2600 and an RX 590 for £779.99, a 17% saving.

Intel and Nvidia enthusiasts haven’t been left behind, with OCUK’s Kinetic ZX featuring a brand new Intel Core i7-9700K at 3.65GHz, a Palit GeForce RTX 2070 Dual 8192MB graphics card and 16GB of 3000MHz DDR4 RAM for £1,479.95, a 12% saving. This includes a whole bundle of games from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Killing Floor 2, Evasion and more. Finally, the Radiance G1 Gaming PC presents a 13% saving on 8th generation Intel hardware and GTX technology, shipping an Intel Core i5-8400 and ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 6G for £779.99.

It isn’t just systems that are getting good deals across the site, as the site dedicates an entire page comprised of graphics card, processor and peripheral deals. noblechair saves up to 20% off its range of EPIC and HERO lines, with the EPIC Limited Edition Gaming Chair in Black/White/Blue standing out at just £239.99, a small price to pay for incredible comfort – at least coming from this EPIC user.

Alongside keeping an eye on KitGuru’s advent calendar of competitions throughout December, those with a penchant for giveaways will want to keep an eye on Overclockers UK’s official Twitch channel. Until Christmas day, the retailer will be putting up a varied pool of prizes, including a Sapphire RX590, HTC VIVE, Roccat and Razer peripherals, Edifier Speakers, Phanteks Cases, Elgato goodies and more.

The launch of the new Intel Core Ultra 200S family of CPUs along with Z890 motherboards was a thorny process. KitGuru suffered along with pretty much every other review site on the planet and you may have noticed we held off from reviewing of the Core Ultra 9 285K, Core Ultra 7 265K and Core Ultra 5 245K as it is clear to us that Intel has some work to do before this platform is ready for action.
