Briony Plays Forza Horizon 4 on PC – Livestream Style

Forza Horizon 4 was released for the XBOX one and Microsoft Windows at the beginning of October. It is set in the UK and after seeing beautiful screenshots all over social media I had to give it a go. Since the release it has been my go to game so if you have a few hours to spare over the christmas holidays come hang out with me while I play the game. See if it is a game you would want to buy too.

Forza Horizon 4 takes full advantage of the rather diverse UK weather with dynamic seasons that really mix up the gameplay. There is the option to team up with other players to complete challenges or you can ride solo and explore the beautiful landscape.

With over 450 cars to choose from and plenty of options to tune, modify and create there seems to be endless possibilities for a garage I doubt I will ever get bored of. My personal favourite is the McLaren 720S but you'll also find plenty from big names like Aston Martin, Jaguar, Lamborghini and Ferrari.

With 6 different racing scenes there seems to be no shortage of things to do either:

  • Street scene
  • Road racing series
  • Cross country series
  • Dirt racing series
  • Drag strip
  • Showcase

The game’s minimum requirements are:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • RAM: 8GB
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-4170 or higher.
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 650Ti or AMD R7 250X.

The recommended system requirements are:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • RAM: 12GB
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-3820 or higher.
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 or AMD R9 290X.

I've been playing on a PC with the following specifications and get a smooth 4K at 60fps with the settings set to a mix of high/Ultra.

BRIONY PC SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS:

Corsair 570X White case
ASUS PRIME Z270-A ATX motherboard
Intel i7 7700K Processor

Kitguru says: Forza Horizon 4 gets my game of the year 2018 due to the beautiful graphics and amount of content available. It's also perfect for laying back and playing with a controller for a properly chilled gaming session.
