Immortals of Aveum will be free to all PlayStation Plus subscribers in April

April is approaching fast, which means it is time for a new wave of PlayStation Plus titles. Starting from early next month, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to claim three games, including the EA-published Immortals of Aveum.

The three games included with PS+ Essential next month include Immortals of Aveum (PS5), Minecraft Legends (PS4/PS5) and Skul: The Hero Slayer (PS4).

Immortals of Aveum is a fantasy first-person game, blending magic spells with FPS combat for high-octane action with fast and fluid animations. The game was largely overshadowed at release due to major games like Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield and Spider-Man 2 all following in quick succession. However, as a freebie, it should offer a decent amount of playtime. Beyond that, it offers a good look at the graphical improvements coming this generation thanks to Unreal Engine 5.

Minecraft Legends is a spin-off game from Mojang, offering action-strategy gameplay where players must put a stop to the ravaging piglins roaming the land. Some of the strategy elements come into play when building fortifications to protect your village.

Finally, we have Skul: The Hero Slayer, a charming indie game in which you play as a lowly skeleton Skul, looking to save your brethren from an attack on the demon king's castle.

There is one last surprise for PS+ Essential subscribers in April. A new Overwatch 2 ‘Mega Bundle' will be available to claim, containing ten new character skins at no extra cost, alongside five Battle Pass tier skips.
