Last year was the 20th anniversary of Thermaltake, which was celebrated with the launch of a brand new Level 20 series of cases. We saw these impressive cases at Computex last year and now, two newcomers are being added to the mix, with Thermaltake launching the Level 20 MT and Level 20 GT cases.
The Level 20 MT is a mid-tower, meanwhile the GT version is a full-tower case. However, both feature Addressable RGB (ARGB) fans, which grants better compatibility. The fans in these cases will sync up with ASUS Aura, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light and ASRock's Polychrome software.
The Level 20 MT comes with three fans at the front, hidden behind a sleek glass panel. It also has a large tempered glass side window, keeping up with modern design trends. In terms of internal hardware support, you'll be able to put together a very high-end system in the Level 20 MT. The case supports ATX motherboards, CPU coolers up to 170mm in height, GPU lengths up to 366mm (without a radiator in the front) and PSU sizes up to 170mm in length. There is also space to fit up to a 360mm radiator for watercooling.
The Level 20 GT takes things a step further. This is a full-tower case with a ‘Dismantlable Modular Design', so you can strip the case all the way down to its bare bones and install panels as and when you need them. This makes the case friendlier to modders and those looking to set up a full custom watercooling loop. Speaking of, there is a ton of space for radiators, with space for up to a 420mm radiator in the front of the case, up to a 360mm radiator in the top. There are also mounting slots for radiators in the bottom of the case and on the side.
The Level 20 GT also supports E-ATX motherboards and vertical GPU mounting, making it a great starting point for those who really want to show off their hardware. As you would expect, this includes tempered glass panels on both sides of the case and the front.
Pricing and availability information for those of us in the UK should arrive soon.
KitGuru Says: I must admit, I've had my eyes on the new Level 20 cases since Computex. Are any of you looking to build a new PC in 2019? What do you think of the new Level 20 series?
