Overclockers UK debuts 8PACK Orion X2- a £33,000 PC

Back in 2017, we were fortunate enough to get up close and personal with the 8PACK Orion X PC– a £30,000 rig housing two fully water cooled systems and a ton of high-end hardware. Now, 8PACK is back again with an updated version, upgrading to three RTX TITAN graphics cards, Intel's latest processors and more.

The Orion X2 is a dual-system with full watercooling throughout, all packed inside of the Phanteks Elite Full Tower. The primary PC consists of an Intel Core i9-7890XE with 18 cores and 36 threads, all overclocked to a 4.6GHz minimum. Alongside of that, you get two RTX TITAN graphics cards connected via NVLink. Other specs include 128GB of 8PACK edition 3200MHz RAM, two 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 SSDs, a 14TB Iron Wolf Pro HDD and a 2000W 80Plus Platinum Super Flower power supply.

The Orion X2's secondary system is mini-ITX and houses an Intel Core i7-9700K overclocked to a minimum of 5.0GHz- although there is an option to upgrade to a 5GHz Core i9-9900K if you happen to have more than £33,000 to spend on a PC. The secondary system has another RTX TITAN, although you can swap this out for a RTX 2080Ti if you prefer. The mini-ITX system also has two 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 SSDs, 16GB of 8PACK Edition 4000MHz DDR4 memory and another 14TB Seagate Iron Wolf Pro HDD.

Each power supply cable is hand braided and color coordinated. Lighting strips are set up throughout the system and all of the water-cooling is set up with clean, straight lines of hard line tubing.
