We are expecting big things from Ubisoft this year. Not only are we getting the release of Star Wars Outlaws, but Ubisoft is also expected to usher in a new age for Assassin's Creed for the first campaign for Assassin's Creed Infinity. We should get our first official look at all of this very soon, as Ubisoft has just announced plans for its next showcase.
The next Ubisoft Forward showcase will be taking place on the 10th of June, hosted live in Los Angeles, likely alongside a number of other Summer Game Fest events, hosted by publishers from across the industry.

Ubisoft hasn't made any official announcements about what will be shown. However, recent developments have indicated that Star Wars Outlaws is close to launch, so we will almost certainly be getting big launch news for that game.
As for Ubisoft's holiday season plans, that should primarily revolve around Assassin's Creed Red, the codename for a new Assassin's Creed campaign set in Feudal Japan, a long requested setting amongst fans of the franchise. This is also supposed to be the first campaign for Assassin's Creed Infinity, a new platform that will house all future Assassin's Creed games.
We have also recently learned that Ubisoft has been working with studio Evil Empire on a new rogue-like spin-off Prince of Persia game. Additionally, Ubisoft has been working on remakes for both Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Splinter Cell. Ubisoft Forward would serve as a perfect platform for updates from both.
Given recent delays, we may also finally get some XDefiant release date news at this showcase. While it seemed that the game was on track to come out in late 2023 and offer some serious competition to Call of Duty, the game has faced numerous setbacks since then and still does not appear to be releasing in the imminent future.
