Indiana Jones and the Great Circle WON’T include Denuvo DRM

With Indiana Jones and the Great Circle set to launch on Xbox and PC later this week, review outlets have gotten their hands on the game – revealing that the upcoming title seemingly uses Denuvo DRM. Fortunately, Bethesda has now clarified that the DRM will be removed ahead of its official launch.

Clarifying the misunderstanding via Twitter, the official Bethesda page confirmed that “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle does not include Denuvo. It was only in review builds for leak precautions.”

For context, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has received a ton of updates ahead of its official launch, per SteamDB. One of the more concerning updates however added the aforementioned Denuvo DRM into the game – leading fans to believe that the title would include the controversial software at launch.

Fortunately, this is not the case, and so when the Advanced Access for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle goes live in less than a day, hopefully Denuvo’s much-maligned DRM is nowhere to be seen.

KitGuru says: What’s your opinion on Denuvo? Is its inclusion exclusively a bad thing in your eyes? Do you think they always planned to remove the DRM ahead of launch? Let us know down below.
