Super Flower launches new Combat FG ATX 3.1 PSUs

Super Flower has just unveiled its latest offering, the Combat FG ATX 3.1 power supply. Aimed at a variety of systems, the Combat FG ATX 3.1 PSUs will be available in black and white variants capable of outputting 650W, 750W, and 850W.

Key features of the Combat FG ATX 3.1 include Intel ATX 3.1 compatibility, supporting up to 200% power excursion to ensure a consistent power supply to the system. The modular panel features HCS terminals and two 8-pin sockets that convert to 12+4-pin sockets on the GPU side, addressing concerns about high-angle bending and providing a safer design.

Furthermore, the PSU's modern and eco-friendly design complies with the latest safety and PC regulations, including IEC/EN standards and ALPM mode, while meeting Energy Star and EuP rules to ensure energy efficiency. The efficient cooling system, equipped with a 120-mm fan (full dynamic bearing), was designed to maximise airflow, reduce noise, and offer precise RPM control.

The Combat FG ATX 3.1 features a copper shaft surrounding the bearing, capable of withstanding high temperatures at high RPMs to improve cooling and prolong the PSU's lifespan. Additionally, the PSU is fully modular, featuring flexible ribbon cables and an 80 Plus Gold certification. The series also comes with enhanced protection features, including Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Over Current Protection (OCP), Over Power Protection (OPP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), and Over Temperature Protection (OTP). The 650W variant will be priced at $109.99, the 750W variant at $119.99, and the 850W variant at $129.99.

KitGuru says: Right on time for the upcoming system upgrades, Super Flower's new Combat FG PSUs should offer enough variety in terms of power and aesthetics to be integrated into some systems.
