Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 announced at GDC

Over the years, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines has become a cult classic. The game didn't fare particularly well at launch after going up against Half-Life 2 but nowadays, the game sits with very positive reviews on Steam and decent sales numbers. Now, the series is being given another chance at success, with Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was announced today at GDC 2019 by Paradox Interactive. The game is being developed by Hardsuit Labs and famed videogame writer, Chris Avellone, has been working on the project.

At the moment, Bloodlines 2 is due to come out in 2020 on both PC and consoles. The game has been secretly in development since 2015, so a lot of work has already gone into the project.

Nvidia has also revealed that Bloodlines 2 will ship with support for both raytracing and DLSS. We have updated our list of RTX supported games to show this.

KitGuru Says: While I didn't play Bloodlines 1 myself, I have heard plenty of good things about it. It will be interesting to see how the sequel holds up all these years later.
