Last week, it was announced that Respawn Entertainment's Star Wars game, Jedi: Fallen Order, will be part of the Star Wars Celebration event in April. Beyond that, the game is set to release this year ahead of Episode IX. Over the weekend, we got more reason to be excited about this game, as KOTOR 2 designer, Chris Avellone, worked with Respawn on the project.
Chris Avellone was a writer and designer on Obsidian's Knights of the Old Republic II back in the early 2000s. Since then, he has also written for Fallout New Vegas, Prey, Tyranny and a few other games. Between February 2018 and January 2019, Avellone worked with Respawn on Jedi: Fallen Order, helping out on story content, cinematic scripts and story/character reviews.
I can't say 100% b/c of NDAs, but the ones I can say: I just finished up work with Jedi: The Fallen Order – and beyond that, there's another big bomb dropping in a month! Er, I mean, maybe. Ahem.

Details on the game have been kept under wraps for a few years now but we do know that Jedi: Fallen Order will follow the story of a Padawan that survived Order 66. The game is set between Episode III and Episode IV.
Right now, Jedi: Fallen Order is pegged for a Fall 2019 release. We'll learn more on the game during Star Wars Celebration on the 13th of April. After that, we'll hopefully see more at E3 in June.
KitGuru Says: We still know very little about this game, but Respawn is a promising studio. The Titanfall 2 campaign was excellent, so hopefully this Star Wars game will hit a similar quality level.
