The new Razer Kraken is the successor to the Kraken Pro V2, and comes with the same MSRP of £79.99. We already unboxed this headset over here, but we now bring you the full review to see if the improvements to the ear cushions, headband padding and microphone make this headset a good buy for the multi-platform gamer.

Pros:

  • Well built.
  • Good microphone that is retractable.
  • Aesthetically appealing with a variety of colours to choose from.
  • Multi-platform compatible.
  • Decent audio quality.
  • Braided cable.

Cons:

  • No software functionality.
  • Short cable.
  • There is still room for improvement when it comes to the sound.
  • Headband can still be uncomfortable after extended wear.

KitGuru says: Overall this is a well balanced headset that makes some worthwhile improvements compared to its predecessor. It is certainly one to consider if you are a multi-platform gamer.
