Nitro Concepts unveils its updated S300EX gaming chair

Given the sheer popularity of the S300 series of gaming chairs between readers and reviewers alike, it’s unsurprising that Nitro Concepts keeps revisiting the model with new coats of paint. Now, the company has updated its renowned design, introducing the S300EX.

Among the main changes is the brand new PU leather upholstery, sporting Nitro Concepts’ lit logo on the main body. As usual, the company only uses tailor-fitted 100% vegan polyurethane (PU) leather with a “breathable cold foam construction” preventing discomfort from underneath.

Ergonomics and customisation are at the heart of the S300EX’s design, with fully adjustable 3D arm rests measuring 25.5cm in length and a back that can tilt between 90° and 135°. The flat surface of the base has a width of 40cm for sitting, while the winged portions add another 8.5cm either side. Overall, the hydraulic lift is rated Safety Class 4, meaning it should support weight up to 135kg.

“The chair is equipped with a robust and durable Class 4 gas lift allowing a 13 cm adjustment from 48 to 61 cm, depending on your height,” explains the announcement. “Its integrated rocking mechanism enables you to lean back, perfect for kicking back with a controller or movie.”

The S300EX should have no trouble on hard or soft floors with its 50mm polyurethane-coated nylon castors. These are attached to the five accented arms, giving users a choice between Stealth Black, Radiant White or Inferno Red versions.

Nitro Concepts has made the S300EX available for pre-order on OverclockersUK, costing £239.99 ahead of release.
