Gigabyte showcases new QD-OLED ultrawide monitors

Gigabyte's latest gaming monitors, the Gigabyte MO34WQC and Gigabyte MO34WQC2 have finally been detailed after making their debut at CES 2024. Boasting impressive specs and features, including the latest-gen QD-OLED technology.

While the two monitors are almost identical, there are a few key differences to note. The Gigabyte MO34WQC has a 175Hz refresh rate and VESA ClearMR 10000 certification, while the Gigabyte MO34WQC2 takes things up a notch with a 240Hz refresh rate and VESA ClearMR 13000 certification. Both monitors have a 34-inch QD-OLED display with an 1800R curvature, 3440×1440 resolution and a 0.03ms G2G response time. Moreover, the panels have 10-bit colour depth, 99% DCI-P3 colour space coverage, 250 nits of average brightness, 1000 nits of peak brightness, and VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification.

In terms of design, both monitors have a similar footprint and ergonomic stand that can be adjusted up to 130mm in height, swivelled up to +/-30º, and tilted from -5º to 20º. They both offer the same connectivity options, including two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 input, a USB Type-C connector with 18W power supply and DP Alt Mode, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Type-B port, a headphone jack, and a microphone jack.

As for gaming-oriented features, the MO34WQC and MO34WQC2 also come equipped with Tactical Switch, Black Equaliser 2.0, Dashboard, Game Assist, a 5-way OSD Sidekick Key, KVM Switch, Gigabyte Control Centre, and support for PiP and PbP.
