Toshiba Canvio Advance 4TB External Drive Review

Toshiba recently added a new flagship model to its range of Canvio Advance portable hard drives with the introduction of a 4TB drive, doubling the capacity of the previous top-end model. There are four models in the Canvio Advance line-up; 1TB, 2TB, 3TB and the new 4TB drive, all using a standard USB 3.0 interface. The 1TB and 2TB models have a 14mm profile while the 3TB and 4TB drives are thicker at 19.5mm.

The 4TB Advance is available in four high-gloss finishes; black, white, blue and red and to keep them looking as fresh as the day you opened the box you will need a micro fibre cloth close to hand, as these glossy finishes are real finger print magnets.

Toshiba back the drive with a 2-year limited warranty.
