One of the biggest announcements to come out of E3 last week was Cyberpunk 2077's release date. At the event itself, people had a chance to go and see a new gameplay demo, showing off new parts of the game compared to what we saw last year. This gameplay demo has not been released publicly yet, but it will be heading our way soon.
CD Projekt Red Community Manager, Marcin Momot, confirmed on Twitter this week that the studio plans to show its new Cyberpunk gameplay demo to the public at PAX West this year. The event kicks off on the 30th of August so we will have roughly a two month wait but if it is anything like last year's showcase, it will be very exciting all the same.
The first gameplay demo was almost a full hour long, showing off a small part of Night City, dialogue options and a full quest in action. This year's gameplay demo shows off a few different parts of the game and heavily features Keanu Reeves's character, Johnny Silverhand.
PAX West runs from the 30th of August until the 2nd of September, so the gameplay demo video will be dropping sometime between those dates, almost exactly one year since the last public gameplay reveal.
KitGuru Says: If everything stays on track, we'll be playing Cyberpunk 2077 ourselves in April next year. I am very excited to get another good look at the game again in August. Are many of you looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077? Will you be watching the new gameplay video when it arrives?
