Wolfenstein: Youngblood is coming to PC today

Update (25.07.19): Earlier this week, Bethesda made the surprise announcement that Wolfenstein Youngblood would be coming out on PC a day early, bringing the release date forward from the 26th of July to the 25th. Now, we have exact unlock times, with the game set to open up to players later this evening.

Here in the UK, the game will unlock on Steam and the Bethesda launcher at 6PM. It will be 7PM in other parts of Europe, 1PM on the US east coast and 10AM on the US west coast. We should also start to see reviews of the game popping up this afternoon.

Original story (23.07.19): Wolfenstein: Youngblood might not be launching with RTX ray-tracing right off the bat but those of us on PC will still get to play the game earlier than console users. Initially, the release date for all platforms was the 26th of July but for one reason or another, Bethesda has decided to bring the PC launch forward a little bit.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood follows the sisters of B.J. Blazkowicz as they fight Nazis through Paris in search of their father. It can be played entirely solo but the game also has co-op, so you can use a free buddy pass to invite someone else to play along with you.

On consoles, this game will still be coming out on the 26th of July. On PC, the game will now be launching on the 25th of July, likely in order to line up with QuakeCon, which kicks off on the same day.

Speaking of QuakeCon, we are expecting to see more from DOOM Eternal and Quake Champions at the event, so it should end up being a good year.

KitGuru Says: Wolfenstein has always had a strong presence on PC and since most PC players are digital-only, launching on Thursday instead of Friday won't have any impact on retail disc sales, which are still very prevalent in the console market. Are any of you planning on playing Wolfenstein: Youngblood when it comes out?
