Custom-cooled versions of the RX 5700 are arriving this month

It looks like custom editions of AMD’s RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT GPUs are due to drop any day now. So far, we’ve had pre-orders and retail listings open up for custom-cooled versions from Sapphire and ASUS ROG. Leaks have also shown off what XFX has planned and Power Colour has confirmed launch plans for a Red Devil version of the RX 5700 XT.

Over at Overclockers UK, you can currently pre-order the Sapphire Pulse version of the RX 5700 or RX 5700 XT for £368.99 or £428.99 respectively. Currently, there are also listings for three custom ASUS RX 5700 XT graphics cards, they can't be pre-ordered yet, but the Dual EVO will be £428.99, the TUF Gaming X3 will be £458.99 and the ROG STRIX version will be £529.99.

As for other board partners, we currently don’t have news on custom cards from MSI or Gigabyte, but we do know that XFX is launching an RX 5700 with an updated version of the Double Dissipation dual-fan cooler.

As leaked by Videocardz, this new XFX GPU will be known as ‘THICC 2’, although we don’t have word on a price or release date yet. Finally, Power Colour is also planning to launch a Red Devil version of the RX 5700 XT, initially, this was due to release on the 13th of August but a small delay has occurred in the supply chain, so the Power Colour Red Devil version will now begin shipping on the 15th of August, although that date might be limited to just a few countries/retailers.

Currently, we are expecting the Sapphire and ASUS GPUs to release before the end of this month too.

KitGuru Says: The RX 5700 series has been off to a good start with reference boards but quite a few will have been waiting for custom-cooled versions. Are any of you planning on picking up an RX 5700 this year once AIB cards start to ship?
