Alienware gaming laptop competition winner announced

This month, we wanted to give back to some of our loyal readers, so we picked up a brand new Alienware Area-51m gaming laptop to give away. We had thousands of entries for this one but as always, there can only be one winner.

In total, this laptop is worth around £3,400 and is fully spec'd out, with a Core i9-9900K processor, an RTX 2080 GPU, 32GB of RAM, a 144Hz IPS display with G-SYnc, two M.2 512GB SSDs in Raid 0 and an additional 1TB hybrid drive for extra storage. It is a true desktop replacement laptop with specs to rival some of the most powerful systems.

To enter this competition, all we asked is that you check out our new ‘Best Of' hardware guide and let us know what the best CPU, GPU and monitor was for this month. We had a ton of entries for this one but without further ado, we are pleased to confirm that Brian McAvoy has been chosen as the winner.

We have been in touch with Brian already to get his details for shipping, so the new laptop should be with him soon.

KitGuru Says: Congrats to Brian and thanks to all of the readers who entered this one. We'll be back with more competitions soon, so keep an eye out.
