Cooler Master’s GS750 ‘desktop hub’ packs in wireless charging, 7.1 sound and more

We first saw Cooler Master's mew GS750 ‘desktop hub' back at Computex 2018. At the time, it seemed like a simple RGB headphone stand but it turns out that quite a few additional features have been packed in, warranting the ‘desktop hub' name.

Briony has already reviewed the GS750, so you can check out her thoughts, HERE. In the meantime, here is the breakdown. The Cooler Master GS750 is a new peripheral, built as a headset stand, a USB hub and a wireless charger. The idea is that you sit this on your desk and can charge multiple devices at once, like a wireless mouse, keyboard and headset or your smartphone. The wireless charger is Qi compatible, so you can plug other devices in via the two USB ports and still pop something else on the base of the stand for wireless charging.

Beyond all of that, the GS750 also doubles as a sound-card with on-board 7.1 audio, so you can use virtual surround sound on any pair of standard headphones. Of course, RGB is also part of the selling point, with 13 LEDs along the base that can be adjusted to your liking or switched off completely.

The Cooler Master GS750 Desktop Hub is available for pre-order in the UK now, with pricing set at £79.99.

KitGuru Says: The Cooler Master GS750 does seem like a neat idea in my opinion, although it is quite pricey. Are any of you interested in something like this?
