Samsung to announce two new devices today ahead of Galaxy Unpacked

While we weren't expecting to see any new smartphone announcements from Samsung until next week, it looks like we'll be getting two surprises later today. Samsung Unpacked is taking place next Wednesday but the company has announced plans to reveal two devices today in a pre-event stream.

The early stream will be taking place on the official Samsung Galaxy website at 3PM today. We know that Samsung is launching the Galaxy Note 10 in August and will be re-launching the Galaxy Fold very soon, although a company as large as Samsung could have other devices up its sleeve too.

Various leaks have already shown us what to expect from the Galaxy Note 10, so the launch wouldn't be a huge surprise. Although it would be fairly unexpected if Samsung were to announce the phone today, a full week ahead of schedule.

Other possibilities include new smartphone accessories, like the Gear VR or a new Samsung-made headset. We could see some updates on the docking station that allows you to use a Galaxy phone as a PC too. Either way, we'll be sure to check out the announcements later today.

KitGuru Says: Are many of you currently waiting to pick up a new phone? Will you be holding off to see what Samsung does with the Note 10?
