Epomaker’s latest keyboards include a built-in screen

The Epomaker TH80 Pro V2 VIA is a new 75% compact mechanical gaming keyboard with impressive features, making it an excellent choice for gamers and typists. With its retro-themed design and customisable screen, the TH80 Pro V2 VIA aims to set itself apart from the competition.

Equipped with 79 keys, the TH80 Pro V2 VIA offers full keyboard functionality while taking up less desktop space. The keyboard's standout feature is its 1.14-inch customisable RGB screen, which allows for a new level of personalisation and engagement. The TH80 Pro V2 is also compatible with VIA, allowing users to build macros and remap keys. The onboard memory enables recording macros in several layers, and the keyboard can easily switch between these layers with just a few keystrokes.

Available in retro white and silver black, the keyboard's keycaps have a cherry profile and are made from durable dye-subbed PBT, ensuring the colours don't wash out. The Image Tool makes it easy to customise the keyboard's screen to display important keyboard statistics, system information, or personalised logos and animations.

The TH80 Pro V2 VIA features an ABS plastic housing, making it lightweight and portable. Its gasket construction blends the plate with the structure, delivering a more pleasant and robust typing experience. The TH80 Pro V2 also comes with hot-swappable PCB sockets that support both 3-pin and 5-pin switches, allowing users to swap between switches as they wish.

The keyboard's connectivity is vast, with support for wireless Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz, and wired with a USB-C cable. The TH80 Pro V2 VIA can connect to three Bluetooth devices and one 2.4 GHz device simultaneously, with shortcuts to switch between connected devices.

The Epomaker TH80 Pro V2 VIA also offers a range of preset RGB effects that can be easily swapped between using simple keystrokes. The keyboard is available now for $99.99/€97.95 and in five switch configurations, including linear and tactile options, all for the same price.

KitGuru says: With these specs at this price, the new Epomaker TH80 Pro V2 might be hard to beat. However, now that it is out of the cage, brands like Ajazz and Akko may soon launch something similar.
