After going years without any major updates, the developers over at Team Cherry appear to be gearing up to release the much anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong. In the wake of new store pages and a rating by South Korea, the Australian ratings board seem to have also been given access to the (hopefully) soon-to-be-released sequel.
As shared by ResetEra user ‘–R’ the Australian Game Classification Board have listed Hollow Knight: Silksong on their site, giving it a PG rating for ‘Mild Violence’.
Aside from this, little can be gleaned – though we do know the classification was officially given a couple weeks ago on the 2nd of April (around the same time as South Korea’s rating).
For the uninitiated, Hollow Knight: Silksong was originally intended to be DLC for the first game. As development progressed and its scope was widened, Team Cherry confirmed that Silksong would instead be its own standalone sequel.
Last we heard, the game was pushed out of its H1 2023 release window, instead said to be arriving at an unknown time in the future. After years of waiting, the time might finally be approaching.
