Sharkoon has been working its way into the gaming chair market for a while now, with several models hitting different price points. This week, Sharkoon is launching two new chairs, the ELBRUS 1 and ELBRUS 2, delivering more affordable options for PC gaming enthusiasts.
The ELBRUS 1 is upholstered with an easy to clean and breathable textile cover for comfortable, long periods of use in both summer and winter. Sharkoon say the material used will provide water vapour permeability and dissipate heat during summer use. In contrast, during the winter, it will provide warmth and cosiness. Cleaning of the material can be done using a non-fluff cloth such as a microfiber towel to remove dust. For more intense cleaning, conventional cleaning agents won’t harm the upholstery. A sturdy synthetic leather is used to upholster the ELBRUS 2 which again should be easy to maintain and provide durability.
With distinct differences to set the two chairs apart you have the choice of two separate styles. The ELBRUS 1 features a lower profile with contoured and padded armrests which can be flipped up out of the way if required. The ELBRUS 2 has a higher back and headrest section, a back and head supporting cushion and flatter armrests without any cushioning or the ability to move out of the way.
Colour options for the ELBRUS 1 include blue, green, grey, pink and red detailing with black making up the majority of the theme. The ELBRUS 2 has blue, green, grey and read colour option to choose from. Both chairs are height adjustable, however, the ELBRUS 2 features a fully reclining backrest section while the ELBRUS 1 does tilt but not recline fully.
Both chairs are manufactured from a stable steel frame, placed on a five-star steel base with 50mm castors on the ELBRUS 1 and 60mm castors on the ELBRUS 2. The ELBRUS 1 is designed to take a maximum load 120kg while the ELBRUS 2 can handle up 150kg.
The ELBRUS 1 and ELBRUS 2 are available now priced at 139 Euros and 199 Euros respectively, UK specific pricing and availability is yet to be confirmed.
