This has been a huge year for Respawn Entertainment, with the studio swiftly branching out beyond Titanfall under EA's ownership. This year, we've had the launch of Apex Legends, the announcement of Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond and in November, Respawn is also launching a story-focused Star Wars game, which now has a brand new story trailer.
We saw quite a bit of Jedi Fallen Order back at E3, with plenty of gameplay and press preview coverage. Now, as we approach the game's November 15th release date, we have a new trailer titled ‘Cal's Mission', giving us a few more hints as to where the story is going to take us:
The game will put players in the shoes of Cal Kestis, one of the last remaining Jedi following the rise of the empire. The story revolves around a search for a relic that Darth Vader and The Emperor are looking to get their hands on, meanwhile, you will be hunted down by Sith Inquisitors, a group of lightsaber-wielding assassins tasked with wiping out any remaining Jedi.
The game is heading to PC, Xbox One and PS4 on the 15th of November. On the PC side, if you subscribe to Origin Access Premier, you can play the game without paying full price.
KitGuru Says: After years of cancellations, prototypes failing to get off the ground and two poorly received Battlefront games, we are finally getting a single-player Star Wars game. Now we just need to hope that it ends up being good. Are many of you looking forward to this? I think with Respawn behind it, this game should turn out well. However, we also thought the same when DICE took up Battlefront and we all know the story there.
