Activision has revealed detailed PC minimum and recommended requirements for the upcoming Modern Warfare reboot, along with discussing what’s to come in the returning co-operative Special Ops game mode.
PC system requirements for the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been revealed on Blizzard’s Battle.net website. Both the minimum and recommended requirements are listed, so you will be able to check out if your PC will be capable of running the game at an acceptable standard.
One thing that stands out in the list, is that the game will require a colossal 175 GB of storage space for installation. Other minimum and recommended requirements are very similar to last years Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. So, if that ran without issues on your machine, it should be able to handle Modern Warfare too, as long as you have the HDD space that is.

- Memory: 12 GB RAM
- Storage: 175 GB available hard drive space
- Internet: Broadband Internet connection
Along with the system requirements, Activision recently announced what to expect in Modern Warfare’s co-op mode. The Special Ops game mode will be available on all platforms upon release and will feature four-player co-operative gameplay, where payers will execute multi-phased objectives to advance the through the story of Modern Warfare.
Most of the Killstreaks, such as airstrikes and UAV’s from the multiplayer modes will be available in Special Ops. Additionally, vehicles including tanks, helicopters and ATVs will be accessible to help you progress. Enemy forces in Special Ops are said to react to your gameplay style. So, if you choose to use stealth or go in all guns blazing you may see different reactions from the AI.
