Dying Light is getting a Left 4 Dead 2 crossover

It has been almost ten years since Left 4 Dead 2 first came out but the franchise continues to be popular despite a lack of newer releases. Now, Left 4 Dead 2 is enjoying some renewed time in the spotlight, as a Dying Light crossover event is on the way.

Dying Light is still active with free updates while Techland continues to work on the sequel. One of those events this year will be ‘Dying Light: Deadeye's Promise', a crossover event that will seemingly celebrate Left 4 Dead 2's 10-year anniversary, which comes on the 17th of November.

For now, Techland is just teasing and hasn't given full details. Valve hasn't said anything about this either but perhaps we'll see Valve also doing something for Left 4 Dead 2's 10-year anniversary.

KitGuru Says: While there have been plenty of rumours about a potential Left 4 Dead 3, no sequel has come to fruition just yet. Valve doesn't seem to be doing much with the game but it is nice to see an enthusiastic studio like Techland taking on the task instead, even if it is only for one limited-time crossover event. What would you like to see from a Dying Light X Left 4 Dead 2 crossover?
