The Elgato range of streaming gear is getting an upgrade this month. Today, the company is announcing its new Elgato Neo products, which aim to offer plug-and-play simplicity for those looking to easily get into streaming, content creation or simply want to look and sound better during calls.
The Elgato Neo line-up includes a new microphone, webcam, LED lights and a capture card. All give are designed to make video calls and livestreams easier, with support for many devices, from laptops to iPads.
The Wave Neo microphone comes with an extra-tall desktop stand, so you don't need to go out of your way to buy a dedicated mounting arm to get started. It has a tap to mute function, and supports most devices, from an iPad, or PlayStation, to laptops and desktop PCs. It hooks up to the Wave Link app too, so you can quickly and easily adjust your settings.
The Facecam Neo offers 1080p/60FPS, for smooth and clear video streams. It can also capture in HDR, so you'll look clear even in challenging lighting conditions. To accompany this is the Key Light Neo, a handy LED ring light powered by USB. If gaming is your focus, then the Game Capture Neo will enable you to capture 4K/60FPS HDR video, and another 1080p/60FPS signal from a PC, Mac or iPad. Better yet, the capture card works with any video app, so you can use OBS, QuickTime or any other app you prefer.
The Stream Deck Neo also offers quick and easy access to controls, like managing audio, navigating slides or folders, pasting text etc. Like the current Stream Deck, you can also customise the different keys for whatever actions you need.
The Elgato Neo family will be available soon, with prices ranging from $89.99 to $119.99.
