AMD Radeon RX 590 prices slashed to under £200

With rumours of a new Nvidia graphics card looming, AMD is pushing forward with price cuts for the RX 590, which still maintains its position as an excellent 1080p gaming card one year later. Currently at UK retailers, the RX 590 can be found for as low as £175 and comes with AMD's ‘Raise the Game' bundle, packing in free game codes.

Price cuts for the RX 590 are happening at retailers around the world. Here in the UK, we have a list of some of the best ones:

  • PowerColor Red Dragon Radeon RX 590 8GB: £175.99 at Overclockers
  • Gigabyte Radeon RX 590 8GB: £174.99 at Ebuyer
  • Sapphire Radeon Pulse RX 590 8GB: £184.97 at Ebuyer
  • Gigabyte Radeon RX 590 8GB: £179.99 at Scan
  • XFX Radeon RX 590 Fatboy 8GB: £185.94 at CCL Online

The RX 590 comes with AMD's Raise the Game bundle. In this instance, customers are eligible for a free copy of either Borderlands 3 or Ghost Recon Breakpoint. You also get three months of Xbox Game Pass for PC, which grants access to over 100 games, including Forza Horizon 4, Gears 5, The Outer Worlds, Age of Empires 1 & 2 Definitive Edition and more.

In terms of specs, the RX 590 is based on the ‘Polaris 30’ GPU, which is built on the 12nm process. The GPU includes 2304 Stream Processors, 7.1 TFLOPS of FP32 compute performance, a 1469Mhz base clock speed and a boost speed of 1545Mhz. There is 8GB of GDDR5 VRAM on board running at 8Gbps too.

KitGuru Says: The RX 590 is still a competitive 1080p gaming card and for under £200, it seems like a very good deal. Are any of you currently shopping around for a GPU upgrade? Are you tempted by the current batch of RX 590 price cuts?
