Over the last couple of weeks, we have seen a plethora of Nvidia GTX 1660 Super rumours, with images and specifications from various manufacturers floating around online.
Another two Nvidia GTX 1660 super cards have been dug up now thanks to the guys over at Videocardz. Images of two new Nvidia GTX 1660 Supers have appeared on their website which looks pretty real. Unfortunately, there is no detailed spec, but we do have some nice pictures to see at least.
From the images, it looks like MSI will have at least two iterations of the Nvidia GTX 1660 Super launching soon. One will be the MSI GTX 1660 Super Gaming X and along with that, there will be an MSI GTX 1660 Super Ventus XS OC, which should offer a more budget-oriented option.
Both cards will feature full-cover backplates, a single 8-pin power connector with four display outputs including 3 x DisplayPort and a single HDMI. Dual fan cooling solutions are integrated into the design of both cards.
Following with MSI tradition, the Gaming X card should have the higher clock frequency of the two and according to the images, the Gaming X will feature Zero Frozr technology and arrives sporting some RGB lighting.
The new GTX 1660 Super cards are expected to use GDDR6 with a clock frequency operating at 1750 MHz under a 192-bit memory bus. It is possible that GTX 1660 Super could deliver higher memory bandwidth – somewhere in the region of 336 GBps is expected, compared to the 192 GBps of the GTX 1660, which would provide a 75% increase in bandwidth.
Since Nvidia is yet to officially announce the GTX 1660 Super, for now, this is all we know. However, as soon as more information comes to light, we will be sure to let you guys know.
KitGuru says: With all these GTX 1660 Super leaks and rumours coming in recent weeks, we expect an announcement from Nvidia soon. These new cards should offer consumers good performance at a reasonable price.
