Philips has announced a new professional 4K monitor from its Brilliance line of displays. The new device will feature USB-C docking, 4K resolution and an IPS panel. Philips says the Brilliance 272P7VUBNB pairs performance with productivity.
The new Brilliance 272P7VUBNB from Philips is designed with productivity and professional use in mind. The monitor features a 27” 4K IPS panel with ultra-slim bezels, RJ45 Ethernet connectivity and a built-in USB-C docking station to eliminate the need for an external docking area reducing cable clutter.
A built-in USB-C docking station enables easy access for users to connect devices to the Brilliance monitor, such as notebooks and other peripherals. The built-in Ethernet port ensures a reliable network connection, rather than relying on Wi-Fi, while the USB 3.2 specification offers high-speed data transfer.
The Brilliance 272P7VUBNB features a high-performance IPS panel to deliver clear 4K UHD images and videos in a 3840×2160 resolution while offering vivid colours and wide, 178° viewing angles. The integrated stand allows for 90° rotation, so the monitor can be viewed in portrait mode as well as landscape, which makes this monitor ideal for productivity, along with everyday use.
Philips suggest the 27” 4k Brilliance monitor will provide users with crisp images along with a comfortable ergonomic design, due to the full height, tilt, swivel and rotation adjustment the monitor offers. Philips has packed in features such as a LowBlue mode and Flicker-free technology which is easy on the eyes.
“Philips LowBlue Mode setting uses a smart software technology to reduce harmful shortwave blue light. Philips Flicker-free Technology applies a new solution to regulate brightness and reduce flicker for more comfortable viewing. Philips PowerSensor also cuts energy costs by up to 80% with its built-in sensor that determines whether a user is present or not, and automatically reduces monitor brightness when a user steps away from the desk”, Says Philips.
KitGuru says: We have seen an abundance of new monitors aimed at the professional market recently. With Philips adding a new one to their range, this provides professional users looking for productivity-based devices, an even greater choice.
