Panzer Dragoon: Remake comes to PC this year

Earlier this year, Panzer Dragoon: Remake was announced for the Nintendo Switch, bringing back Sega’s mid 90s classic once again with improved graphics and controls to suit modern day gaming. The remake won’t only be coming to the Switch though, as a PC version has also been announced for Steam.

According to the Steam page, we can expect Panzer Dragoon: Remake to launch on PC sometime ‘this winter’, so it could sneak in at some point in December, or it could end up slipping into January. You can see a trailer and some screenshots for the remake below:

Panzer Dragoon: Remake is being handled by MegaPixel Studio and Forever Entertainment, who licensed the game from Sega. Forever Entertainment is also planning a remake of Panzer Dragoon 2 but we won’t be hearing more about that one until the first game is finished.

The Panzer Dragoon Remake will include the original seven levels, taking you and the blue dragon on a journey to stop the prototype dragon. There are still no official release dates for the PC or Switch versions, but the remake should land before the end of 2019.
