Sharkoon launch the SKILLER SGK5 gaming keyboard

Sharkoon has a reputation for offering good quality PC components and peripherals at a reasonable price. The company is introducing a new RGB illuminated rubber dome keyboard for gamers. The SKILLER SGK5 features n-key rollover support, multimedia keys and a detachable wrist rest.

The main feature of the Sharkoon SKILLER SGK5 is its RGB lighting – six RGB zones comprising 16.8 million colours are pre-configured with ready to use lighting effects that can be selected via dedicated keys, without the need for any additional software. To further personalise the SKILLER SGK5’s RGB lighting, free software can be downloaded for users to uniquely configure the keyboard as desired.

Traditional rubber dome keyboards are usually only capable of 2-key rollover, meaning a maximum of two keystrokes can be simultaneously registered. In the same way, it can be attached it can also be removed just as quick. To provide users with a fast and accurate response, the SGK5 features mid-height quick triggering keys, with 7mm high keycaps. The rubber dome keys are expected to have a lifespan of around 10 million strokes so it's durable and should provide many years of service.

If required, the key response time can be adjusted to suit the user’s preference. In addition to that, Sharkoon has equipped the SKILLER SGK5 with dedicated keys for lighting effects, macros and gaming profiles. Two rotary knobs are situated at the top right of the keyboard to control volume and LED brightness. Downloadable software is available not only to control lighting but to assign macros and configure gaming key profiles too.

The Sharkoon SKILLER SGK5 is available across Europe with a manufacturer suggested price of €39.99.
