Halo: Reach is coming to the Halo: Master Chief Collection on PC

Just the other day at X019 we learned that Microsoft would finally make some of the Halo communities longest-standing requests a reality, with the announcement that Halo: Reach will be added to the Halo: Master Chief Collection on PC and Xbox One this year.

After months of uncertainty, Halo: Reach will finally make its way to PC. However, that’s not all, the entire Master Chief Collection will make its way to the PC platform with Halo: Reach coming first on 3rd December via Xbox Game Pass, the Microsoft Store and on Steam with pre-orders on both Xbox and PC platforms available now.

When the game is launched on 3rd December there will various ways to get your hands on the game depending on the platform you want to play on and whether you already own the Halo: Master Chief collection. For PC gamers the available options to obtain Halo: Reach include Xbox Game Pass for PC (BETA), the official Microsoft store or on the Steam platform.

For users who subscribe to the Xbox Game Pass for PC (BETA) they will get their hands on Halo: Reach on 3rd December and will also be entitled to the complete Halo: Mast Chief Collection which includes titles such as Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST (Campaign) and Halo 4. All these Halo games will be added to the Halo: Master chief collection on PC over time and the complete collection will be available in 2020.

Anyone choosing to order from the Microsoft Store or on the Steam platform will also be able to play the game on the 3rd December, and in the same way will receive the remaining titles of the Halo: Master Chief collection over time through 2020.

The Master Chief collection should look and play better than ever with support for 4k resolution and 60 FPS on PC, along with new features, optimisations and customisation specifically built for the platform. The Halo: Master Chief Collection is available to pre-order now for £29.99 from Microsoft or you can purchase Halo: Reach for £6.99 separately.
